Mrs. Nelson was born in Indiana and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1979 coming from Belleview, Florida.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Claudia Hampton of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Ralph Nelson of Pembroke Pines, FL and Kenneth Nelson of Stuart, FL; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude M. Nelson.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 1:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
