Ivan F. Harber Sr.

Ivan Harber, Sr., 91, of Fort Pierce passed on to be with his Lord on Friday, August 18, 2017. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Jackie Harber, his parents Hobart Harber and Elmer and Clara Reedy, and his two brothers, Arnie and Louis Harber.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Jim) Tedder; son, Frank (Kathy) Harber, both of Fort Pierce; five grandchildren: Matthew Tedder, Adam Harber, Melissa DePriest, Ashley Minton and Benjamin Harber; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Minton and Connor Harber; as well as several nieces.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the “Ivan and Jackie Scholarship Fund” through the Indian River State College Foundation at 3209 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 1st at the Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel between 5-7 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 2nd at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
