Ivery Platt
August 15, 1923 — October 7, 2015
Ivery Platt, 92, of Fort Pierce, FL left this Earth peacefully for his journey to Heaven on October 7, 2015.
He was employed by Edsall Grove Service, Inc. for many years and was a wonderful asset until he retired. His supervisor, Mr. Marion Oldham, always said he was a hard worker, made friends everywhere he went and was a good man.
Ivery enjoyed life and was always laughing, joking and making the best of every situation. He was kind, generous, funny and happy.
He loved his motorized wheel chair almost as much as he loved fried chicken!
Ivery’s daughter Joyce Platt, of Chicago IL gave him much joy when she called him each week. He was a close family friend of Marion and Tommie Oldham, their daughter, Iris Winters, her children, Michael and Lisanne Winters and her daughter, Haley.
There will be no service but donations may be made to: Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
