Jack Edward Roberts, 72, died September 10, 2017 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Roberts retired from the St. Lucie County School System and was the Director of Learning Services. Jack served in the United States Air Force and was discharged as Sergeant. In addition, he was a local artist who studied under A.E. Backus. He served on the board for the Backus Museum and also the St. Lucie County Historical Society Board. He was an elder with the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jenny Roberts of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Scott (Janine) Roberts of Bloomville, OH; daughters, Sophia (Brion) Yancy of Port St. Lucie, FL and Susanna (Kristopher) Horn of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Cody, Corey, Angelique, Julia, Kristina, Joshua, Caleb, Makenzie, and Amelia and great-grandchildren, Avery and Kayden. He was preceded in death by his sister, Candance King.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
