Jackson A. Blackwell

Jackson A. Blackwell, 87, died March 5, 2008 in Fort Pierce, Florida.Mr. Blackwell was born in Alleghany County, Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce 54 years ago coming from Waynesboro, Virginia.He was a retired Route Salesman and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Survivors include his 7 sisters; grandsons, Chris (Becky) Blackwell of Fort Pierce, FL and Mark (Nicole) Blackwell of Fort Pierce, FL; great-grandchildren, Brady, Kellen, Ethan and Mason Blackwell; former daughter-in-law, Shelley Blackwell Luther of Vero Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Blackwell, second wife, Evelyn Blackwell and son, Alvin Blackwell.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 3-5 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be conducted on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
