Jacqueline Lynn Peters, 55, died March 16, 2010 in Atlantis, Florida.
Ms. Peters was born in Akron, Ohio and moved to Ft. Pierce in the early 70’s from Ohio and then moved to West Palm Beach in the 80’s to present.
She worked for Goodwill for over 15 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Tonya (Carlo) Renda of Wellington, FL, Vera (Glen) Butler of Wellington, FL, and Sabrina (Joseph) Melendez of Green Acres, FL; sons, Jason Peters and Shawn Peters of Lake Worth, FL; sisters, Shyrl Exley of Lake Worth, FL and Rosemary Summerlin of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Perry Detwiler of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Alexis Butler, Annamarie Renda and Raquel Renda, Tommy Butler, and Carlito Roberts, Janizel, Geraljanita and Carolito Melendez; uncle, Edward Hefner and aunt, Carrie Hughes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Mae Detwiler, stepfather, Ralph Detwiler, sister, Cecelia Detwiler, brothers, Gary and Larry Hefner and Ralph James Detwiler III.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
Services: A visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 1-2 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
