Jacques J. Emeran

Jacques Joseph Emeran, 92, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on 26 August 2022.

Jacques was born on the 5 March 1930, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to the later Leon Emeran and Elvire Michel. He relocated from Haiti to Queens, New York, before retiring to Port St. Lucie, FL with his beloved wife, Marie Alberte. Jacques worked at the Fink Bakery for 30 plus years before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed watching African movies, playing sudoku, and sipping coffee or wine.

Jacques is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Alberte Emeran; children Pierre Stanley Wolff and his wife Michelle Wolff, Elizabeth Smith and her husband Troy Smith; grandchildren, Jessica Wolff, Jonathan Wolff, Jackson Smith, Dontinique and Kelvin Mitchell, Nikya Murphy, and Charles Murphy Jr.; great grandchildren Izaiah, Nilaiah, Journee, Kielond, Kielani, and Malik; siblings, his sister Josette Emeran Camille and her husband Litz Camille, his brother Max Emeran and his wife Flore Emeran, his nieces Myriam Emeran, Fabrienne Emeran, Katline Emeran, and his nephew Steven Camille.


A viewing will be held 3 September, 2022, from 11 am to 12 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34947. A religious service will be held at the same location from 12 to 1 pm.

A burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery at 2200 SW Del Rio Blvd, Port St. Lucie FL, 34953. A repast at Haisley Funeral Home will follow after the burial.
