JAMES ALEXANDER MacDONALD, JR.
James Alexander MacDonald, Jr., 75, died May 20, 2010 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. MacDonald was born in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 2001, coming from Titusville, Florida.
He was with the New York City Police Department for 8 years, a Captain with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for 15 years, a member of Elks Lodge 1520, a member of the American Legion and served in the US Navy.
Survivors include his son, Jeffrey A. MacDonald of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Susan Gault of Palm Bay, FL; sister, Margaret Pearson of West Melbourne, FL; brother, Joseph L. MacDonald of Alabama; companion, Patricia E. Downey of Fort Pierce, FL; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister, Rita Allen.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim’s memory to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
