James Arthur Garman, 94, died April 6, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Garman was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and moved to Ft. Pierce in the 50’s coming from Canton, Ohio.
He was a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers for 60 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an avid Snook fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, June E. Garman of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Donald (Judy) Garman of Colleyville, TX; daughters, Barbara Drummond of Canton, OH and Joyce Green of Buckhannon, West Virginia; brother, Charles Garman of East Canton, OH; 7 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 2-3 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Canton, Ohio and out of town arrangements are under the direction of Reed Funeral Home in Canton, Ohio
