James “Jim” Frederick Batalini never met a stranger, and he was always available to lend a helping hand.
As a self-taught businessman and entrepreneur, he loved working with people from around the world, however, he also appreciated his free time.
While boating was his favorite hobby, he was also an avid fan of jazz. He especially enjoyed listening to his wife sing in concerts in the area.
He was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and a part of the local Emmaus community. He was a big fan of all animals, The Cleveland Browns, time in the kitchen and a great glass of wine. But, more than anything, he adored “doing life” with his wife, Maria, and his grandchildren, Nicole and Ray.
Born in West Virginia on September 28, 1942 to the late Raymond and Mary Batalini, Jim died on March 31, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital after losing his battle with COVID-19. He is preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Ramsey. Other than the love of his life, Maria Batalini and grandchildren, Nicole and Ray Batalini, he is survived by a sister, four children, five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, Florida on Saturday, April 17th at 1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Jim’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, any local Humane Society, or Cancer Research Institute.
