James "Billy" Callahan

James “Billy” Callahan, 54, passed away June 4 2022.
He was a resident of Port St. Lucie, Florida, but his hometown was Somerville, New Jersey.
He was very big on family, which he got from his dad “the Big Guy”.
He enjoyed fishing, time outdoors, gardening and yard work, football season and playing with his dogs, Skylar and Bailey.
He loved “his 3 girls” more than anything; his two daughters and the love of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Michelle Callahan of Port St. Lucie FL; daughters, Ashley Callahan of Charlotte NC and Brittany Callahan of Sanford FL; mother, Mildred Callahan of Port St. Lucie FL, sisters, Markita Callahan, Tina Callahan, and Cindy Sandoval of Port St. Lucie FL, and lots of family and friends.
James was a man to move mountains for those he loved. He was kindhearted and selfless, with a wild sense of humor. In all seasons, he truly was as strong as they come.
He always said “If you carry one thing throughout your entire life, let it be HOPE.”
A visitation will be held Saturday June 11, 2022 from 5PM - 6PM with a service to start at 6PM at the Haisley Tribute Center at 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL.
