James E. Hancock, 73, died January 27, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Hancock was born in Florence, South Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1957.
James worked for Flowers Bakery in Fort Pierce in the production department for 25 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. National Guard and a member of the Vero Beach Church of Christ. He enjoyed music and wood working.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Patricia Hancock of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Rick (Dana) Hancock of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Denise (Bill) Treu of Port St. Lucie, FL and Debi (Randy) Blair of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Evelyn Breton and Patti Norvell both of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Raltz Hancock of Fort Pierce, FL and Kelly Hancock of Venezula; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetic Association, 1101 North Lake Destiny Road #415, Maitland, FL 32751.
Services: A private service will be held at Haisley Funeral Home.
