Mr. Moran was born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania and moved to St. Lucie County in 1986 coming from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He worked for Pratt Whitney Aero Space for 18 years, and was the President of Indian Motorcycle Riding Group.Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer L. Blais of Port St. Lucie, FL, Heather Moran of Pittsburgh, PA; son, James E. Moran III of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Charles Moran of Salem, CT, Keary Moran of Silver Dale, WA, and Shaun Moran of Stewartstown, PA; sister, Faye Marie of Donora, PA; parents, James & Naomi Moran of Lake Lynn, PA; grandchildren, Hannah and Tanner Blais; he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Moran.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Lucie, 3375 20th Street, Ste. 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
