James F. Green
James F. Green, 81, died August 24, 2012 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Green was born in Amsterdam, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 2004 coming from Plainville, Massachusetts.
He was an engineer and served with the US Air Force during the Korean War. Was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, American Legion, and Disabled Veterans Association. He enjoyed camping and reading.
Survivors include his wife, of 56 years, Catherine Green of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters Judith, Fred, DeLutis of Dunnellon, FL, Margaret, Larry, Kohn of Sutton, MA, Anne Marie, Bill, Batson of Douglas, MA, M. Kathleen, Kirk, Murphy of Douglas, MA, and Carolyn, Jeff, Conner of Northboro, MA; son Paul G. Green of Ft. Pierce, FL; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Jeff Green and Joseph Green.
Services: A visitation will be held Tuesday August 28, 2012 4-8 PM with a Wake Service at 5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday August 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at VA National Cemetery.
