James L. Hough, Jr., 97, of Fort Pierce, died September 5, 2015, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House, Ft. Pierce.
He was born February 3, 1918, in Tiffin, OH, the son of the late James. L. Hough Sr. and Lula Mae (Brown) Hough. He was a World War II Veteran of the Merchant Marines, having served aboard the Stephen Foster.
Jim was a member of the Local #630 Steamfitters and Welders for 66 years before his retirement.
Mr. Hough was a member of the Westside Baptist Church and was a member of East Liverpool Lodge #61 F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra S. Hough of Ft. Pierce; step children, Joni Mey Collins and Richard Mey; several nieces and nephews, including Bonnie McCauley of Augusta, GA. He was predeceased by sisters, Gladys Dise of GA and Bonnie Frazier of Chester, WV.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 1-2pm in the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, 3015 Okeechobee Rd., Ft. Pierce. Services will be immediately following at 2pm in the Chapel, with the Rev. Ames Pittman of the Westside Baptist Church, officiating.
