James J. Kiernan, Jr., 58, died December 3, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Kiernan was born in Hartford, Connecticut and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1998 coming from Belford, New Jersey.
He retired from the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam War for three tours. He was a member of the Moose Club.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Mildred Kiernan of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Amie Marie Kiernan of Connecticut and Mary Beth Gonzalez of CT; sisters, Catherine Whitehead of Ft. Pierce, FL, Mary Kiernan of East Hartford, CT, Theresa Breaux of South Windsor, CT and Patricia Verdame of Southington, CT; brother, Harry Kiernan of Glastonbury, CT; stepson, Richard Garrett; stepdaughters, Kathleen Sannicolas, Maureen Schnoor, and Patricia O’Grady; 3 grandchildren and 12 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary & James Kiernan and sister, Margaret Thomas.

Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 10-11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
