James J. McDonnell, 75, died November 20, 2005 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. McDonnell was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a resident of Ft. Pierce.He retired after 22 years with the Connecticut State Police Department as a Resident State Trooper. He worked as a Special Deputy for St. Lucie County for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jean McDonnell of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Kathleen Laessig of Jupiter, FL, Jill Bastarache of Somers, CT and Robin Marocchini of Albuquerque, NM; son, James McDonnell, III of Ellington, CT and sister, Jeanne Wieder of Ft. Pierce, FL.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
