James Edward “Jimmy K.” Kleinschmidt, 68, died May 6, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, FL.
James was born in Miami Beach, Florida and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He graduated from Ft. Lauderdale High School (1962) and from University of Florida Forestry School in Lake City, Florida. He traveled extensively as the owner/operator of JEK Enterprises, a hotel interior furnishings business based in Ft. Pierce. He was an avid fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by a son, Michael Kleinschmidt and grandson Escher K. of Jacksonville, FL; brother, John Kleinschmidt (Lori Ryan) of DeBary, FL; sisters, Joan Caperones (George) of Silver Spring, MD and Judy Lambert (James) of Melbourne, FL; and former spouse, Diane Baldwin Kleinschmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Regina Kleinschmidt and former spouse, Gloria Baker.
