James Leroy Long, 69, died December 25, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
He was born in Washington, D.C. and moved to Ft. Pierce 10 years ago coming from Clinton, Maryland.
Mr. Long was a member of the AM Vets and enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, and playing the lotto.
Survivors include his daughters, Vicki Fain, of Key Stone, FL and Sharon Mc Inerney, of Chipley, FL; brother, Jerry “Ko” Long; sister, Janie Long-Mayhew; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Irene Long; sister, Joyce Tillett and brother, Joseph Long Jr.
Services: A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service. A guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com .
