James L. “Jim” Williams, 81, died April 3, 2006, in Fort Pierce, Florida.Jim was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and was a long time resident of Fort Pierce, Fl.He sold shoes from Alabama to Florida and opened Jim’s Fashion for Men’s Store and co-owned Davidson’s Shoe Store in downtown Fort Pierce, Fl. He was in the US Army Air Corps, received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama; was a member of Fort Pierce Shrine Club and the Clown Unit of the Fort Pierce Shrine Club; he was a 32nd degree Mason; and a member of the Southeastern Shrine Clown Association.Memorial contributions may be made to the Orange Avenue Baptist Church, 100 Cyclone Drive, Fort Pierce, Florida 34945.Jim is survived by his wife Clara H. Williams of Fort Pierce, FL; stepson, Michael Spielman of Fort Pierce, FL; and brother, Rick Williams of Niagra Falls, NY. Reception to follow services at the Haisley Family Center.
