James Earl Martin

James E. Martin, age 71, died on April 5, 2013 in Fort Pierce, FL.
He was born in Bedford, OH and moved here 40 years ago.
Prior to retirement, from DOT, he was a long haul truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion Post #358, former member of the Legion Riders, Sons of AMVETS Post #92 and North End Club of Ashtabula, Ohio. He loved riding his Harley, collecting glass swans, which he had over 200, playing the accordion, cooking, baking and fishing.
Survivors include his sisters, Nancy Boomhower and Judith (Charles) Blackwell of Ashtabula, OH, Alice Wells and Mary (Robert) Hickey of Salisbury, MD; biker buddy, Scott Myers; good friends, Joe & Barb Burnham; beloved dog, Roscoe and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, James Drew Martin and companion of many years, Sharon Chambers.
