O gentlest heart of Jesus, have mercy
on the soul of thy departed servant. Be
not severe in thy judgment but tender
in thy forgiveness. Do thou O merciful
Savior send thy angels to conduct thy
Departed servant to a place of refreshment,
light and peace at last. Amen.

TAPS
Day is done, gone the sun,
From the hills, from the sky,
All is well, safely rest
Safely rest,
All is well.
Fading light
Dims the sight,
And a star gems the sky,
Gleaming bright
From afar, drawing nigh,
Falls the night.
Dear one, rest!
