James Robert Lundy, 76, died August 23, 2009 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Lundy was born in Barbourville, Kentucky and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1953.
He was a heavy equipment and automobile mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sally Lundy of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, James R. Lundy, II of Ft. Pierce, FL and Keith A. Lundy of Pineville, KY; daughter, Rena Durham of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Vivian Deitz of Tazewell, TN, Janice Bingham of Barbourville, KY and Joan Lundy of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, David Lundy of Barbourville, KY, Paul Lundy of Valdosta, GA and John Lundy of Barbourville, KY; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marion Lundy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
