James L. "Butch" Roberts

James L “Butch” Roberts, 76, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2020 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Roberts was born on August 16, 1943 in Dover, Delaware and was lifelong resident of Fort Pierce.
Butch was the Owner/Operator of Roberts Auto Electric in Ft. Pierce for over 50 years till his retirement in 2007. He was a Graduate of Dan McCarty High School Class of 1961. He was a member of the NRA and a longtime member of Indian Hills Country Club. Butch loved to play golf and eat lunch with his long time dear friend Billy Martin. And he was always checking on his longtime Family member and close friend Sherry James. (Charlie)
Butch loved to read, there was always a big stack of books next to his chair. He loved to show the Dairy Goats all over the state of Florida. He also loved to play Texas Holdem, and watch NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by His father Jim Roberts and mother Mildred McIntosh, who was better known to many as Grandma Mac!!!!!
Butch is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Yvonne, 5 children, Michelle (Sparky), Michael, Christy, Jamie (Scott), Joey (Crystal); 3 Grandchildren. Sara, Allyson, Jerrod
In lieu of flowers, they are requesting donations in honor of Butch Go to St. Anastasia/John Carroll Schools or Hospice of the Treasure Coast.
