James Roy King, 82, died August 25, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. King was born in Charleston, West Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1968 coming from Ocala, Florida.
He was a member of the Orange Avenue Baptist Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include his daughter, Christy Nobles of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, James “Bud” King and Richard King both of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Carlos Sutphin of West Virginia; sisters, Betty Bailes, Charlotte Atkins and Victoria Black all of West Virginia; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 1-2 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
