James Schneider, 78, died October 1, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Schneider was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Ft. Pierce 25 years ago coming from Palm Beach, Florida.
He worked for the Chrysler Corporation for 15 years and then the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach prior to retiring. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany and a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his companion, Viola Bailey of San Antonio, TX; sister, Clara Marie Dillon of Ft. Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward M. Schneider, Robert G. Schneider, and Richard Schneider, and sisters, Margaret Barstow and Rose Marie Schneider and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Attn: Gift Processing, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301
Services: There will be a memorial service at a later date with inurnment at South Florida VA National Cemetery.
