James Patrick Shane
James Patrick Shane, 76, passed away peacefully November 4, 2013 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce. Born in Columbus Ohio he moved to Florida in 1978.
He served in the United States Army as a communications specialist with top security clearance. His early career was in banking and computer services. Later he turned his love of dogs into a career in professional training of police K-9 teams as well as personal pets. He has worked for Piper Aircraft for the past 16 years. He was devoted to his family and friends.
Predeceased by son Patrick Michael Shane, he is survived by wife Valeri and daughters Colleen Heath, husband Billy; Kelly Shane, fiance Michael Masichuk, and grandsons Aiden Heath and Jameson Masichuk; also nephews and nieces; Brian (Pam) Reverman, Jenny Reverman Held, Karen (Tim) Radich, Paul (Aleisha) Reverman, Bart Reverman and Katie Reverman as well as great nephews and nieces.
