James A. Stemock

James Stemock, 91, died December 23, 2016 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Jim was born in Buffington, Pennsylvania, and was a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1993, coming from Warren, Ohio where he was a Steelworker before retiring in 1986.
He was a member of St. Cyril & Methodius Byzantine Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Jim enjoyed traveling to his Navy ship reunions and Vegas trips and loved “his” dog Chico. He was married to his wife Irene for 64 years before her passing in 2013. He was enjoyed by many for his wit, kindness and his fun personality. He will so be missed by many and never forgotten.
Survivors include his children, Barbara (Steve) Bednarik, James (Brenda) Stemock and Robert (Michele) Stemock; Grandchildren Alan (Lori) Bednarik, Sarah (Marvin) Hoover , Bryson Stemock, Mackenzie Stemock, Taylor Law and Great Grandchildren Parker, Donika and Madison Hoover.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Jim’s memory to St. Cyril & Methodius Byzantine Catholic Church, 1002 Bahama Avenue, Ft. Pierce, Florida 34982.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 12:00 for friends and family to attend at St. Cyril & Methodius Byzantine Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service. Online condolences may be made at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
