James “Jimmy” Lester, Jr., 57, died August 10, 2010 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Lester was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to St. Lucie County in 1974 coming from Immokalee, Florida.
He was a traffic engineer Technician.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Gerri Lester of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Emily DeVaney of Port St. Lucie, FL and Erin Lester of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Dianna Cooper of Plant City, FL; brother, Eddie Lester of Jacksonville, FL; stepbrother, Rick Howell of Orlando, FL; father, James T. Lester and stepmother, Marie Lester of Immokalee, FL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Lester, sister, Valerie Baker, brother, Andrew Lester and stepbrother, Med Howell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Lester Fund at PNC Bank, 100 South 2nd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Northside Christian Fellowship, 3100 St. Lucie Blvd., Fort Pierce.
