James T. Minton, Jr.

James T. Minton, Jr., 81, died November 4, 2007 in Port. St. Lucie, Florida.Mr. Minton was born in Uniontown, KY and moved to Port St. Lucie 6 years ago coming from Miami, FL.He retired after 34 years as an Operations Manager from the United States Postal Service in Miami, FL. He was a member of the N.A.R.F.E. He had been very active in the Elks Lodge and Postal Service Retirement Club and was a stamp and coin collector. Mr. Minton attended GA Tech University and was an Alumni of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He was of the Methodist faith.Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Jaci Minton, of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Virginia Girten, of Vero Beach, FL; nieces and nephews, Dale Girten, of Woodbridge, VA, Sharon Richards, of Ft. Pierce, FL, Ginny McAlarnen, of Vero Beach, FL, Kelley Harris, of Dallas, TX, Brennen Harris, of Bedford, TX and Sean Harris, of Grand Prarie, TX.Memorial contribution may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.Services: A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 5-6PM with a funeral service to follow at 6PM in the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Cryptside services will be private.
