James V. Taylor Jr, 67, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away May 29, 2021.
Captain Taylor was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 12, 1953 to James Sr and Mary Taylor. He graduated from East Leydon High School in Franklin Park, IL and attended Triton College in River Grove, IL.
James loved spending time with his family. He recently earned his Captain’s licenses, a life-long dream, which allowed him to start a boat charter business. Jim was a well-loved member of the community, her cared deeply for those around him. His most favorite times were spent with his family. He will be missed greatly.
Survivors include loving wife, Janis Taylor; daughters, Tracy Rothe of and Stephany Forsythe; sons, Jonathan Grubb, Justin Gwiazda, and Joshua (Charolette) Foley; grandchildren, Tyler James Rothe, Mya Jade Forsythe, Caden Cable, Branden Rothe, Ryan Rothe, and Elizabeth Foley. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Mary Bruno.
A gathering will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 4PM to 6PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 6PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
