James John Wouters

James John Wouters, 96, passed away on February 27, 2023 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mr. Wouters was born in Chicago, Illinois and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

James was a veteran of the United States Army. After serving he came back to work at Sunrise Ford Motor Company. In 1948 he started work at Sunrise Ford Tractor and became the owner in the early 70’s. He was a very quiet and subtle person who loved fishing, hunting, go-kart racing, and RC planes. 

Survivors include his son, Michael (Elaine) Wouters of Fort Pierce, FL; grandsons, Michael Chad Wouters of Vero Beach, FL, Nils Lewis of Fort Pierce, FL and Thomas Lewis of Virginia. 

A graveside service will be held  on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
