Janet M. Kratzer, age 86, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2014. Janet was born in Reading, PA where she met the love of her life, William S. Kratzer. Together, they traveled to many countries and resided in Canada, England, Venezuela and Mexico City. She was a graduate of Kutztown University with a BA in art and was a public school teacher in both the U.S. and Canada. She was preceded in death by “Bill” in 1983. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Yonge(Bruce); granddaughters, Janet Mould of Vero Beach, FL, Jessica Mould of Islamorada, Juliette Yonge of Port St. Lucie, FL. Janet devoted countless hours as a “Pink Lady” at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and was the head of the scholarship committee for many years. She was also a member of the Fort Pierce Women’s Club. As a devout Christian, she could be found at St Andrews Episcopal Church every Sunday and was a member of the Daughters of the King. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
