Janice Bishop Burchard, 64, died March 1, 2009 at her home in Port St. Lucie, Florida after an extended illness of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Mrs. Burchard was born in Glasgow, Kentucky and was raised in Stuart, Florida. She lived in Clewiston, Florida for 35 years and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1999.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Lawrence Burchard of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Brian and James Burchard both of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Rusty Burchard of Charlotte, NC; brothers, William, David, and Carroll Wayne Bishop; 13 grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lencoy and Lera Bishop.
Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2009 from 10-11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
