Janice "Jan" Ellwood

Janice “Jan” Ellwood, 59, died September 26, 2005 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Ms. Ellwood was born in Burlington, Vermont and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1969 coming from Randolph, Vermont.She was the owner/operator of The Highliter, retail lighting store, Ft. Pierce since 1971.She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Ft. Pierce. Jan loved the outdoors and her association with Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.
Survivors include her sons, Clay (Cheryl) Ellwood of Ft. Pierce, FL and Eric Ellwood of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Bernice La Pan of Milton, VT; sisters, Betty Blaisdell of Milton, VT, Leona La Cross of Colchester, VT, Patricia Lamay of Essex, VT, Cynthia Driscoll of Naples, FL and Karan Dumas of North Hero, VT; brother, Gerald La Pan of Manchester, NH; grand-daughters, Chelsea Ellwood of Ft. Pierce, FL, Channon Ellwood of Ft.
