Jayne Cookerly Stick, 86, died June 30, 2007 at the Hospice House of the Treasure Coast, Stuart, Florida.She was born in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania and lived in Fort Pierce since 1968 coming from Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Jayne served in the U.S.M.C. during World War II. She was the past president of Welcome Wagon/New Comers Club of Ft. Pierce and later joined the Lakewood Park Homemakers Club.
Prior to retirement, she helped her husband run a potato chip factory in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward Stick. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Sparling of Carlisle, PA, Edward (Chip) Stick of Port St. Lucie, FL, Dr. Michael Stick of Madison, FL; 4 grandchildren and her dog, Buckie.Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ft.
