Jean S. Barlowe, 89, died September 24, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Barlowe was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Fort Pierce in 1983 coming from Decatur, Tennessee.
Our Mother was the most caring and kind individual a person could ever have. Her heart was always opened, and her love was unconditional not only as mother but a best friend. Everyone she encountered always left a positive impact on them. Our mother was supportive and always let us make our own decisions in life, with the occasional “words of advice”.
She wasn’t judgmental but had a positive opinion, she always stood beside us but knew what was right and what was wrong, she always had opened arms that were only closed when they were wrapped around you.
Survivors include her son, Don Eric Barlowe of Fort Pierce, FL; “sons”, Tommy Cardin of Fort Pierce, FL and Steve DiPalmer of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Linda Licari of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Linda Licari Reed of Vero Beach, Holli Gray Luring of Ohio, April Kirk of North Carolina and Dylan Castner of Texas; great-grandchildren, Dylan Reed and Jillian Licari, and niece, Karen Schwartz of Laurel, DE. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Barlowe and brother, Enoch Schwartz.
We all love and miss you Mom. Physically we may have lost a Mother and a best friend but please know you will always be in our thoughts and hearts, that will never ever be lost. See you on the other side.
