Jean Myers Butcher, 87, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on March 24, 2018.
She was born in Cowen, West Virginia on December 18, 1930 and moved to Fort Pierce in 1949.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Bickford (Jerry); son, Michael Butcher (Sharon); brothers, Paul Myers (Charlotte), Parker Myers (Jewel); brother-in-law, Quincy Wyatt; 5 grandchildren, Chris Singley (Kim), Kevin Singley (Dreama), Angie Singley (John Hester), Jason Butcher and Amy Butcher; 5 great-grandchildren, Miriah Keaney (Daniel), Cole Singley, Mikayla Caglioni, Kyle Caglioni and Ella Malone; 1 great-great-grandson, Tyde; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don G. Butcher; son, Walter (Pat) Butcher; her parents, Garriett and Ella Myers; brothers, Bill Myers and Owen Myers; sisters, Ruth Casto, Mary Miller, Ruby Stine and June Wyatt.
She also leaves behind her four beloved kitties who were her life. It was at her request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to their new home. Dogs and Cats Forever, 4600 Selvitz Road, Fort Pierce, Florida, 34981, 772-489-5454.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4:00 to 5:00pm with a service to follow at 5:00. Fellowship will immediately follow the service.
