Jean Elizabeth (Snapp) Huff, 81, B. February 13, 1929 in Sidney Florida – D. June 15, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida
Jean Huff was born and lived in Florida. She returned to Fort Pierce from Fort Lauderdale in 1985 when her husband retired from the Seaboard Coastline Railroad.
Mrs. Huff was born in Sidney, Florida near Plant City after her parents moved from Bristol, Tennessee to farm. As a child and teenager she lived in Plant City and Miami, Florida. After marrying James Huff in 1948 and having two sons she and her family moved to West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, and Fort Lauderdale before moving permanently to Fort Pierce in 1985.
Mrs. Huff was a homemaker but worked occasionally as needed. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fort Pierce where she taught Sunday school in 1972-73. Watercolor painting was one of her hobbies.
Mrs. Huff graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School in 1948.
Jean Huff is survived by two sons Michael Neill Huff and James Alan Huff and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband James L. Huff in 2004, and three brothers, George, Herman and Harry Snapp; and one sister Mary Lillian (Linda) Barry.
