Jean lived in Fort Pierce for 60 years, coming from Marshville, North Carolina.
She was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Jane Hargett of Fort Pierce and her sister Julia Harter of Taylors, SC.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Page Hargett, brother, Clyde Jordan, and sister, Cornelia Jordan Kelly.
A private burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
