Jean B. Sheets, 95, passed away on August 16, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Sheets was born in Dehart, Kentucky and moved to the Fort Pierce in 1958 coming from West Liberty, Kentucky and resided in Vero Beach, Florida for the last 17 years.
Jean was a member of the Pathway Church of Vero Beach. She loved her church family and lived a dedicated Christian life. She also taught Sunday School. Her first job was proof reading for the Licking Valley Courier. She enjoyed dominos, reading, and doing the New York Times crossword puzzles in ink.
Survivors include her sons, Richard (Nancy) Sheets and Robbie Sheets both of Fort Pierce, FL and Raymond Sheets of North Hollywood, CA; 4 grandchildren, Debbie Clinco, Beth Hartzog, Rebecca Thuma, and Sarah West; 1 great-granddaughter, Hannah Bryan; 6 great-grandsons, Anthony Clinco, Brandon Hartzog, Caleb Sayers, Noah Sayers, Chris West, and Alex West; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Braelyn Clinco and Ledger Clinco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Sheets and son, Russell Lynn Sheets.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
