Jean Frances Thompson went home to be with her Lord at her home in Fort Pierce, Florida June 27, 2017. Jean was born to Alfred and Malinda Balke in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 03 ,1930. She graduated from Wittenberg University as an RN in 1953. Following graduation, she married the love of her life Dr. John Freeman Thompson. They built their life and became community leaders at Lake Cable in Canton, Ohio. Jean enjoyed serving at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a Life Master Bridge player and a wonderful hostess.
Jean is survived by sons, Greg (Debra), Jeff (Nancy), John (Ronda) Thompson; 9 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren; her sister Barbara, and niece Heather.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Fort Pierce, Florida this fall.
