Jeanne Carita Gehringer

Jeanne Carita Van Wagner Gehringer died on September 21, 2007 at the Hospice House in Fort Pierce.Daughter of Karl D. Van Wagner and E. Carita Raque, she was born in Hackensack, New Jersey in 1924 and lived in Bergen and Passaic Counties. She moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1971.Prior to retirement, she was a Medical Secretary. She was a member of Faith Congregational Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.Survivors include her daughters, Mary Gehringer and Paula Gehringer Loughlin, three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Janice Kenny of Toms River, NJ; four nephews and one niece.She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Gehringer.Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Dogs & Cats Forever, 9550 Carlton Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.Services: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Faith Congregational Church, Port St. Lucie with Pastor Jim Mory officiating.
