Jeff passed away on September 13, surrounded by his family. He was born in Warren, MI and resided in Port Saint Lucie, FL
Jeff was a beloved husband, father, son and brother. Jeff is survived by his wife Carrie and 5 children Taylor, Jordon, Alexa, Mackenzie and Brandon. Mother, Cathy. Mother in law, Jody. His brother Scott and sister in law Brandie. Nephew, Kyle. And many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
He loved sports especially all of his Detroit teams. Even faithfully cheering for the Lions! He loved playing cards, concerts and camping with family and friends. Jeff was a Detroit police officer for 3 years. He worked for Sherwin Williams for 16 years, working his way to Sales Representative and mentor to all. Sherwin Williams was a second family to Jeff, he loved & cared for all those he worked with and took great pride in his work.
Jeff was an amazing man who left his mark on everyone he met. He was the most unselfish and caring person. Jeff was known for a couple of sayings: one being when someone said Have a good day! Jeff would respond with “Have a better one” Another was LIVE, LAUGH, and LOVE every day. He was truly an inspiration to those who had the honor of knowing him.
Family always came first with Jeff, his love for his children was immense. A text to say “I’m thinking of you today”, cheering from the sidelines, a math homework wiz. To see Jeff with his family was to see love. From the love and respect for his parents. The amazing camaraderie and friendship with his brother. There is not a person family or friend that doesn’t have a story to share about Jeff and the impact he left. His legacy will live on through all of us who knew him.
