Jeffrey Wichert Metcalfe (aka "Dallas"), 57, previously of Ft. Pierce, Fla. husband of Christopher Metcalfe, passed away Thursday, November 12 at his home in Batavia, NY. Jeffrey was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, April 1, 1958, and was the youngest of three children to Joanne Wichert Correll.

A long time resident of Ft. Pierce, Jeffrey, aka "Dallas" was a well respected hair stylist, who was employed (and thrived) with Valorie and Carl DeWitt of Visions Hairstyling. He worked at the downtown salon for over 20 years until his retirement to upstate New York in 2010.

Jeffrey was pre-deceased by his beloved mother, Joanne, and his adored (and adoring) grandparents, Dolly and James Wichert as well as his adoptive father, Clifford Correll.

In addition to his husband, Jeffrey is survived by his brother James McNair, of Texas; his sister Dianne and her husband Robert Butler of Florida, their children, Charles, Angie, Rosa and Rene along with niece Kate Kelley Morphew and nephew, Tyler Kelley. Jeffrey also leaves behind, his closest friends Stephanie Lyons, Robert Kelley, Cathy Savino, Carl Luckman, Delmar Achuff and BJ (Buster) Nelson, with whom he shared so many memories.

Jeffrey's life and times will be celebrated at Haisley Funeral Home Reception Center, 3015 Okeechobee Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34947 on Thursday, December 31 with a gathering from 2:00-4:00 PM and a tribute/memorial service at 4:00 PM.
