Jeffrey Alan Saucier, 57, of Fort Pierce, FL, passed away on August 11, 2021, after a lingering illness that left him handicapped. Jeff was born on September 26, 1963, in Bristol, CT. He was the son of Mary Ann (Fiorillo) Saucier and then late Fernando (Fred) Saucier.
As a youngster, he was a cub scout, played baseball in the Little League (hitting a few home runs), A NY Yankees fan, delivered the local newspaper, and managed a laundromat. In 1982 he graduated from Bristol Central High School and attended Tunxis College from 1982-1984 for marketing.
With his parents and brother, they created a night club called “Zanzibar,” and a restaurant named “Joshua’s Steak House.” He was the youngest club permittee and mixologist in the state of CT.
Jeff moved to Florida with his family 37 years ago and worked in the family business. He was the manager of Marine Terrace Apartments, Seaway Marina, and Seaway Market. He continued his love for baseball by serving as his sons’ manager of his “Little League” Team.
In addition to his loving mother of South Hutchinson Island, he leaves his son Jason and Jason’s son, Justice of Fort Myers. He also left behind his brother, Brian and his wife Karen and their son Austin of Vero Beach. A sister Sharon Vonella and her daughters, Kristy Wright and Josie Parent and her two sons, Jaden and Jackson Parent of Bristol, CT.
