Jessie was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1982, coming from Miami, Florida.
Jessie enjoyed cooking and was an avid garage sale shopper.
Survivors include her son, Stanley Morris of Davie, FL; daughters, Charmaine Morris of Sebastian, FL and Tina Quick of Fort Pierce, FL;beloved grandchildren Tracy Quick and Danny Downie along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, Norman Downie, daughter, Mae Ellen Parrish, Son, Norman Downie, grandchild Robin Quick Black and great-grandchild Maggie Black.
