Mrs. Hommel was born in Corinth, New York and moved to Port St. Lucie, FL coming from Athens, New York.
She was the manager of the family owned Jewelry Store.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Hommel of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Joanna Whateley of Athens, NY and Nina Brantley of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Robert Watts of Greenville, NY and William Watts of Woodbridge, VA; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bernadette Davis. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
