Joan B. Travis, 67, died October 6, 2005 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Travis was born in Corning, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1968 coming from New York.She worked in the business office at Lawnwood Regional Medical for 23 years.Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Henry M. Travis of Ft. Pierce, FL; mother, Isabelle Bennett of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Brenda White of Murphy, NC, Sheri Quillen of Ft. Pierce, FL, Lori Travis of Ft. Pierce, FL and Kristine Travis of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Marlee Turner of Horseheads, NY; brother, Jeff Bennett of Ft. Pierce, FL; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
