Joan “Sissie” Radebaugh Swanson, age 74, died on January 20, 2009 in Stuart, FL. She was born in Atlanta, GA and had just recently moved to Port St. Lucie coming from Sarasota, FL.
She was a successful realtor, past-president of St. Lucie Cowbells, and avid golfer, a loving wife and mother; she was a friend to all.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Chuck Swanson of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Sharon Warren of Okeechobee, FL, Lynn Hendry of Nashville, AR; son, Chip Radebaugh of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Susan Adams of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Tee Sloan of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Jimmy Coleman of Australia, Bill Coleman of Orlando, FL, Dick Coleman of WI; 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Elizabeth Coleman; and her first husband, Cush Radebaugh.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 865 SE Monterey Commons Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996
There will be private services for the family.
